Journey to us
By car:
We ask you to avoid the historic Bückebergstraße as an access road to the Bückeberg. If you are travelling by car or other motor vehicle, please follow the car park signs and use the south entrance (above) via the K50 from Latferde.
By public transport:
The Bückeberg documentation and learning centre can be reached by bus from Hameln and Emmerthal railway stations. From the Hagenohsen-Amselweg stop, the north entrance is just a few minutes‘ walk away.
By bike:
The Weserradweg (Weser cycle path) runs very close to the Bückeberg. The route to the documentation and learning centre is signposted both in the direction of Hamelin and in the direction of Bodenwerder. There is a bicycle parking area and a charging station for e-bikes at the north entrance.
Visit on your own
The Bückeberg documentation and learning centre in Emmerthal OT Hagenohsen can be visited independently at any time and free of charge. All Exibition Panels are also in English. The site can be accessed both from the north entrance at the bottom of the slope and from the south entrance at the top.
The site is largely left in its natural state. Only the upper area at the south entrance is paved and designed to be barrier-free. The paths between the individual information islands are only kept clear by mowing. We therefore recommend that you wear sturdy shoes when visiting the Dokumentations- und Lernort Bückeberg.
Guided tours
Guided tours are also available in English. Anyone interested in further information or a guided tour of the permanent exhibition is welcome to contact kontakt@bueckeberg-ggmbh.de.
The participation fee for a guided tour is four euros per person, two euros reduced (pupils and students) or a flat rate of 50 euros per group.
